My Life My days spent as a child was on clover Because I had a loving and caring mother When I was at school Was taught to take noone for a fool My teenage years were very green As I was a sportsman keen My courting days were full of fun I realised life for me had just begun After sixty years of married life We never once got into strife Because I had a wonderful wife When I look back on my day Am sure I went the right way Who is to say I am wrong Ask some of the passing throng Eric Munro Glen 5/5/01 |
